Nutrition

Nutrition is a cornerstone of health, affecting every aspect of our lives. The nutrients we consume strongly influence our health and wellbeing outcomes. It is key in managing and preventing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and weight.  Through detailed analysis of your current and past health issues as well as current and past dietary habits, lifestyle and goals, I create a personalised plan that addresses the cause of health and wellbeing issues. Rather than address symptoms, it is important to look holistically at the integration between organs and systems. This also includes support with making changes, as the mind affects the body’s responses and this connection is key to wellness.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) focuses on the interplay between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.  This makes it an essential part of any health and wellbeing goal, whether alongside hypnotherapy or nutrition. Our thoughts, emotions and behaviours are closely interconnected.

By identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts, patterns and behaviours, CBT aims to foster healthier ways of thinking and acting, ultimately improving emotional and physical well-being, supporting change and positive results. It is not external events that determine how we feel and behave, but our own thoughts.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy utilises the power of guided relaxation and focused attention to allow positive suggestions and therapeutic guidance support future thinking and behaviours. Mental imagery, verbal cues and repetition help the client reach the state of focused attention. The conscious mind is responsible for everyday thoughts and actions while the subconscious mind holds memories, beliefs and automatic responses. By connecting with the subconscious; unwanted habits, behaviours and emotional responses can change. Hypnotherapy is an effective tool in supporting many issues including anxiety, sleep, fears, habits and emotional issues.
